Enjoy this 10 minute guided visualization where I attempt to bring you back to love. All you need is a relatively quiet space and maybe some writing tools if you’d like to be in some reflections immediately after. If at any point the activity is stirring up overwhelmingly unpleasant emotions, please stop at any time and take care of yourself as needed.

My intention with this guided visualization is to support you (whoever is reading this) in getting closer to love, particularly from an earlier time in your life even if that earlier time was overshadowed by anything but love, maybe as a way of consulting with your younger self a bit. I believe there is wisdom in children that’s often devalued and suppressed. Perhaps it isn’t just about what’s often referred to as re-parenting your inner child. Sometimes, your inner child can remind you of what matters most. Hopefully, this experience invites you to reclaim some of that for yourself.


Optional:

Immediately after the guided visualization, you can pick up a writing tool to jot any words, phrases, sentences that are speaking to you. Draw a picture. Scribble on the page. Write a poem. A piece of music. Recall a recipe. Hum a melody and record it if you’d like. Welcome any fragmented, imperfect, or messy messages coming through. Give yourself permission to be with these messages in any way that serves you.
